The Tamiya Team Reinert Racing MAN TGS 4WD On Road Semi Truck is a faithful replica of the Team Reinert trucks racing in the European Truck Racing Championship. Weighing in at a colossal 5,400kg these trucks truly are the heavyweights of motorsport! But size isn’t the only thing that’s extreme about these incredible machines. The Team Reinert Racing MAN TGS truck is powered by a huge 1,100hp turbocharged diesel engine. To get that phenomenal power from the engine to the tarmac is no easy task, which is why the truck takes advantage of a Mechanical 16-speed ZF gearbox to get it up to speed.

This Tamiya radio control replica faithfully captures the giant race truck of the Team Reinert Racing Team. It competed in the 2016 running of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship. The polycarbonate body sits atop the TT-01 E chassis, which is designed for easy assembly and maintenance. This specific kit includes a Hobbywing THW-1060 Brushed ESC for incredible performance.

REINERT’s Rampaging Racer
This is an exciting R/C model assembly kit recreating the Team REINERT Racing MAN TGS truck which starred on the 2016 European truck racing circuit. The realistic body is a 4-piece set made from lightweight and durable polycarbonate, with separately molded plastic side mirrors, coupler and rear bumper parts. Stickers are included in the kit to recreate the truck’s numerous sponsor markings and logos, etc. The TT-01 Type-E chassis is a proven performer, and here is fitted with dedicated racing truck model wheels and tires.

Evolved Chassis
The bathtub frame of the evolved shaft-driven 4WD TT-01 Type-E has its motor and battery close to the ground for lower center of gravity and optimum balance. Mounted on the bathtub frame is a fiberglass reinforced nylon upper deck and gear covers improving rigidity, as well as a 3-piece tie rod providing a smoother steering action. The low center of gravity, great balanced design, 4 wheel double wishbone suspension system, and front and rear differential gears all come together to produce excellent operating ability. 70mm-diameter radial tires are paired with metal plated wheels developed just for this model; the high sidewalls make for forgiving turns.
